Fulfill The Dream, Milwaukee, WI
The Fulfill The Dream Milwaukee chapter is most active through Transition High School. The curriculum is used in a setting called “Roc Cypher” which is a life skills class that promotes liberation and transformation through the arts. Baba Rogers, who is the school principal, has been instrumental in helping the program to spread throughout the city in working with youth who are learn non-traditionally.
This school continues to be a shinning example on engaging youth that traditional school networks deem “unteachable or undesirable” and supporting them to be responsible and active community members. This school continues to have Roberto come in to do professional development for the staff as Fulfill The Dream has helped to create a common language and positive culture among the staff.

Nahume Diaz is a young man that transformed his life after going through the Fulfill The Dream program. He is now a community leader who works to create change by helping other youth find their voice and use them to offer solutions to community issues.
